Despite the holiday season, Bronte successfully managed her training around Christmas and New Year's, demonstrating her commitment and adaptability. She highlights improvements in her performance, including achieving a new personal best in a recent Park Run and almost hitting another in a 10k time trial. This progress is a source of encouragement and motivation for her.
Bronte's training included a brief trip to Perth, where she experienced running in warmer weather. She enjoyed the change of scenery, turning her runs into explorative adventures in new suburbs. This adaptability to different conditions is a key aspect of her training.
She also discusses the importance of proper nutrition and hydration during her runs, experimenting with various gels and other recommendations to find the best options for her body.
