In this episode of FitMIND FitBODY, we meet Kevin Matthews, an ultra runner with a unique approach to the Delirious W.E.S.T. 200-mile race. Kevin’s fun and relaxed perspective on ultra running played a big part in inspiring me to take on this epic challenge myself!
In this episode, Kevin shares his journey from marathon running to ultra marathons and how he balances the mental and physical challenges of such extreme events. He’s all about enjoying the adventure and treats the race as a “moving picnic”—focusing on the experience rather than the competition.
