Running tips from Brodie -
1. Structured Approach: Have a structured running plan and be thoughtful about progressing in your training.
2. Avoid Too Much Too Soon: Ensure you do not exceed your body's adaptation zone to prevent injuries.
3. Patience is Key: Recognise that you are still a runner even if you start with walk-run intervals.
4. Follow a Program: Couch to 5K is recommended as a sensible and structured program for beginners.
5. Listen to Your Body: Be attentive to any signs of discomfort or pain and adjust your training accordingly.
6. Lay a Strong Foundation: Building a solid foundation will allow you to progress safely and avoid setbacks.
7. Enjoy the Process: Remember that running is a journey, and it's important to enjoy each step along the way.
