In this episode of the podcast we talk to Traci Havlik who loved sport and movement so much as a child that she went on and surrounded herself with it as an adult! Traci is a PE teacher and a Personal trainer, and she also coaches hurdles/track.
Traci’s finds that her running gives her energy to do all the things she wants to do in life. She also talks about having anxiety and panic attacks and how running has been a great way to manage them as she can use it to get rid of any of the pent up energy, that is often a symptom of an oncoming attack.
“Everyone in therapy should also started an exercise program.”
~ Traci Havlik ~
Traci has recently changed the way she trains to reflect what she’s learnt about the differences between men and women, from Dr Staci Sims. As Dr Sims says “women are not small men”, and therefore your training should reflect that. Traci is loving the difference this new type of program is having on her energy levels.
